GTA VI comes in two editions, Standard and Ultimate, and the Standard is sold both digitally and boxed. This is what each costs and what it includes, according to Rockstar and the stores themselves.

The prices come from each store’s own listing Confirmed PlayStation Store Confirmed Xbox. Mexico has a catch. The Mexican PlayStation Store shows prices before tax and adds 16% VAT at checkout, so what the listing shows (MXN 1,378.45 and 1,723.28) is not what you pay: with VAT they come to MXN 1,599 and 1,999 Confirmed PlayStation Store Mexico Reported TierraGamer. Xbox, by contrast, shows its Mexican prices with VAT already included Reported Xataka México, and there the Standard comes out 100 pesos cheaper Confirmed Xbox Mexico.

Across the rest of Latin America the PlayStation Store charges in US dollars, except Honduras and Nicaragua, which charge in their own currency. That is the price the store shows; as in Mexico, each country’s taxes may be added at checkout. The boxed edition has no official price: each retailer sets its own.

Everything in the table is set out on Rockstar’s support page Confirmed Rockstar Support, including two things worth knowing before you choose:

  • There is no boxed Ultimate Edition. It is sold digitally only.
  • The boxed edition has no disc. It holds a code to download the game, and goes on sale on 12 November so you can pre-load it.
  • There is no collector’s edition with the game in it. The nearest thing is The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a €399.99 box of collectibles sold separately, without GTA VI Confirmed Rockstar Newswire. We cover it, with photos, in its article.

The Ultimate adds sixteen items: vehicles, weapons, clothes, five shops and workshops that only open with this edition, and two activities. We go through them one by one in their own guide.

What you get for pre-ordering

The Vintage Vice City Pack comes with any digital purchase before 20 November 2026, whichever edition, and with boxed pre-orders. According to Rockstar it holds Confirmed Rockstar Games:

  • The ’55 Vapid Stanier, a two-tone sedan, with a garage at Shore Court a stone’s throw from Ocean Beach. The garage has a weapon locker and a place to stash stolen goods until you fence them.
  • Period outfits and hairstyles: a pastel linen suit for Jason and a red sequin mini dress for Lucia.
  • A tropical weapon pattern, inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s palm-tree shirt.

The month of GTA+ only comes with digital pre-orders, not the box. It has small print, and it differs by console:

  • On PlayStation it must be redeemed by 31 March 2027, and then it renews on its own at the regular monthly price until you cancel it Confirmed PlayStation Store.
  • On Xbox it must be redeemed within 180 days of the pre-order Confirmed Xbox.

What Rockstar lists for GTA+ are perks in GTA Online, such as a monthly GTA$500,000 deposit, and a library of classic games Confirmed Rockstar Games. It mentions nothing inside GTA VI.

Buy the Standard, upgrade later

Rockstar sells the Ultimate upgrade separately, at any time, including to people who buy the box, once the code is redeemed Confirmed Rockstar Support. On Xbox in Spain it can already be pre-ordered for €20.00, exactly the difference between the two editions. On PlayStation it has no price yet.

Buy from your own country’s store

PlayStation codes only work on accounts from their region: the US and Canada share one, the UK has its own, and Latin America has its own with Brazil separate. Xbox codes are not region-locked. Rockstar recommends buying from a retailer in the same country as your account to avoid activation problems Confirmed Rockstar Support.

Which languages it comes in, and whether it is dubbed, is in our languages guide.

What is not known yet

  • The price of the Ultimate upgrade on PlayStation. The store lists it, without a price.
  • The price of the boxed edition, which depends on each retailer.

We will check prices again before launch and whenever there are deals, and every change will go in the changelog below.
