Every GTA 6 trailer: all the official videos, in order
Rockstar has published six GTA VI videos on its channel: Trailer 1, Trailer 2, the launch trailer, the cover art reveal, a teaser and the 26 minutes of An Extended Look. Here they all are, in order, with what each one shows.
Every video on this page is the official one from Rockstar Games’ channel. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, so opening the page sets no third-party cookie.
Launch trailer (15 October 2026)
The latest, out five weeks before release. Rockstar did not call it Trailer 3 but the launch trailer, and it comes back to the Trailer 2 synopsis: Jason and Lucia, a score gone wrong and a conspiracy across Leonida Confirmed Rockstar Newswire. Rockstar says it was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5 Confirmed Rockstar Games on YouTube.
The music is new too: it debuts “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, the electronic duo behind the game’s original score, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The track is also on the game’s official album Confirmed Rockstar Newswire, which we cover in full in GTA VI: The Album.
An Extended Look (27 August 2026)
The longest: almost 27 minutes captured in-game on PlayStation 5, premiered on Netflix before reaching YouTube Confirmed Rockstar Newswire. It is the first long look at how the game plays: driving, heists, shootouts and getaways with Jason and Lucia. What Digital Foundry measured in it is in our consoles guide.
An Extended Look teaser (6 August 2026)
The announcement of the one above: date, Netflix and YouTube Confirmed Rockstar Newswire.
The official cover art (18 June 2026)
With this video Rockstar revealed the game’s cover, a week before pre-orders opened Confirmed Rockstar Newswire.
Trailer 2 (6 May 2025)
It came with the synopsis Rockstar still uses: Jason and Lucia, an easy score gone wrong and a conspiracy that stretches across the state of Leonida Confirmed Rockstar Newswire.
Trailer 1 (4 December 2023)
The one that revealed the game, Vice City and Leonida Confirmed Rockstar Newswire. It was scheduled for 5 December, but Rockstar brought it forward by some hours after it leaked Reported Bloomberg. It announced the game for 2025; it was later delayed twice, to 19 November 2026 Confirmed Rockstar Newswire.
What is not known yet
- Whether there will be another video before 19 November: the latest was presented as the launch trailer, not as Trailer 3.
- Whether Rockstar will show the PS5 Pro and Xbox Series versions, which do not appear in any video: the launch trailer was captured on PS5 as well.
When Rockstar publishes a new video, we will add it at the top and note it in the changelog.
